5-Minute Quick Start

Set up a local AI server
AppStudio works with any local AI server. Pick one: Ollama (CLI), LM Studio (GUI), Jan (privacy-first), or any OpenAI-compatible server. See the LLM Setup guide for full instructions.

Load a model
For best results:
qwen3:14b (~10 GB VRAM) or qwen3:8b (~6 GB VRAM). Any Qwen or Llama model works. AppStudio auto-detects whichever is available.3
Install AppStudio
Windows: Run
AppStudio_V1.0_Setup.exe · Linux: chmod +x AppStudio_V1.0_Linux.AppImage && ./AppStudio_V1.0_Linux.AppImage (self-installs) · macOS: Unzip and double-click start.sh.4
Activate your license
Open Settings → License and paste the key from your Lemon Squeezy receipt. One-time online activation — fully offline after that.

Run your first analysis
Click + New Idea, describe your app idea, hit Run Analysis Agent. In 2–5 minutes: market sizing, competition, revenue models, risk assessment, and a BUILD / VALIDATE / SHELVE verdict.
