License Activation
One-time purchase. One activation per machine (Indie / Builder) or up to 10 machines (Team).
Activating your license
AppStudio opens to the License Activation screen on first launch. You can also reach it anytime via Settings → License.
Your key is in the purchase confirmation email from Lemon Squeezy (support@keysecnexus.com). It's a long alphanumeric string — copy and paste the whole thing.
This step requires an internet connection to verify the key against the license server. It only needs to happen once.
After activation, AppStudio works fully offline — no recurring license checks.

Moving to a new machine
Your license is tied to a machine ID. To move it:
On the old machine: Settings → License → Deactivate on this machine. This frees up the activation slot.
Install AppStudio on the new machine, open it, enter the same license key, and click Activate.
Activation fails — common fixes
- "License already activated" — the key is in use on another machine. Deactivate there first, or contact support for a manual reset.
- "Invalid license key" — make sure you copied the full key. It's long — there may be leading or trailing whitespace if you selected it manually.
- "Network error" / activation times out — check your internet connection. A VPN or firewall may be blocking the request — try temporarily disabling it.
- No email received — check spam. Then email support@keysecnexus.com with your Lemon Squeezy order number.
