These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your purchase and use of AppStudio software ("Software"), developed and sold by KEYSEC ("we," "us," or "our"). By purchasing or using AppStudio you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not purchase or use the Software.
Upon purchase, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to install and use AppStudio on the number of machines permitted by your tier:
Your license is perpetual for the version purchased. Major version updates beyond your included update window require a separate Update Pass ($49/year).
You may not:
License keys are issued and validated via Lemon Squeezy's licensing infrastructure. A one-time internet connection is required to activate a key and bind it to your machine. After activation, AppStudio runs fully offline — no recurring internet checks or call-home. Keys are tied to your purchase and the permitted number of machine activations for your tier; they must not be shared outside those limits.
AppStudio requires Ollama (ollama.com) to function. Ollama is a separate, independently licensed product. We are not affiliated with Ollama and are not responsible for its availability, performance, or any changes to its licensing. You are responsible for complying with Ollama's terms of use.
AppStudio uses local AI models to generate analysis, code suggestions, marketing copy, and other content. All AI inference runs locally on your hardware. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of AI-generated output. You are solely responsible for reviewing and validating any AI-generated content before use.
Each tier includes a window of major version updates (12 months for Solo, 24 months for Pro, 36 months for Team). After this window, the Software continues to function indefinitely — you simply stop receiving major version updates unless you purchase an Update Pass. Bug fixes and security patches within your update window are provided at no additional cost.
AppStudio, its code, design, documentation, and all associated materials are the intellectual property of KEYSEC. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any intellectual property to you. The license granted herein is solely a right to use the Software as described.
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
IN NO EVENT SHALL KEYSEC BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SOFTWARE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the website. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
